Are You Guilty of These 5 Relationship Mistakes?

It’s been a rollercoaster week for me- oh boy.  But I still managed to catch Love and Hip Hop's Wedding of the Season for Yandy and Mendeecees Harris.  Weddings are so special and for the most part bring out the good in people… at least in those individuals who are happy for the union.

After years of being married and just being around others in relationships, I can school you in a thing or two about being how essential commitment and doing the work is to the success of your relationship.  When the cameras stop flashing and the guests go home, it’s the perfect time to check your relationship to see if your guilty of these 5 relationship mistakes.

1.    Did You Know That Understanding is Key… Bump Communication?

·         Understanding your spouse is totally different from the simple act of communicating or what my husband would say “talking because you have lips.”

2.    Do You Forgive, But Also Forget?

·         Forgiveness is totally different from holding a grudge.  There’s nothing wrong with forgiving someone and not forgetting.  That’s the only way for you to make better decisions in the future.

3.    How Committed Are You?

·         Being faithful mentally is totally different from physically being present in the relationship.  When you mentally check out, you will only contribute negativity to your relationship.

4.    How Many Siblings Do You Really Have?

·         Having biological sisters and brothers is totally different from conveniently calling random people a sister or brother for the sake of dishing out titles- you catch my drift?

5.    Do Your Actions Speak Louder than Words?

·         What you say is totally different from what you do.  This old saying rings true and I’m pretty sure we’ve all experienced it.

Spreading BS,
